Let me propose a statistical question for you:

Let's assume, you have twenty people, now out of these twenty people, nineteen of them enjoy a story a lot and point out some minor errors. However, the twentieth person, some how, manages to point out flaws that no one else had considered or noticed to the point of running said story into the floor. What are the chances the twentieth person may hold much of a point?

But let's assume (we have to assume, because your head is firmly in your arse) it's not arrogance but because taking part would really be a case of banging my head against a wall in terms of getting a picture of my level of writing. In case you haven't noticed, I never called myself a flawless being and even noted that there were minor errors in the story. However, it wasn't, by any means, as bad as it was made out to be by that particular judge, unless of course all the other people are wrong? You know, people who have actually more experience in writing.

So, are you done assuming you know the entire picture yet?

The point they were trying to make was that your story wasn't based on an island, it was based on a coastline or something, but your head was too big to realize that and instead you took it as a personal attack. I could go into details, but we've pretty much turned shit into mush here.
