What johnny said, no different shades, just the three.
Blurring the background also creates different shades, so keep away from that too.
It looks okay though! be sure to edit it or make a new one

I refute the claim that MSPaint is useless.
With careful attention the spraypaint tool can look not crappy.

Hmmph. I was planning to make the purple parts on the bot have a glowing effect but doing so with only 3 colours turned out to be very hard. I might still edit it later, but until then you can consider it my final image.

that is actually quite cool, good job. I would imagine adding glow would be quite difficult

I drew a turtle. Not necessarily better than my other picture, but this time, it's on protocol.

This has got to be the longest piece of art I'm making, two hours and counting (I'm an impatient person, but this is worth it.)

I'm using a reference picture of one of my friends, making the picture as close as possible as I can without tracing it in Photoshop.

It's the dithering that makes it seem like 4 colors. Everytime I opened the file while it was a WIP, I used the magic wand globally with zero tolerance to ensure that it was only 3 colors. Took 3 clicks :)

The whole point of this collab is not to make it look like you used more colours while only using three, it is to design-wise only use three colours..

Actually it is 4 colors, unless the second lightest green is just extreme dither, in which case it's way to fine for the rules to permit IMO
If you get a chance please fix that, I wouldn't want all this work to go to waste

M-Vero, you're correct. I was checking afterwards again using GIMP (I used Paint.NET when Photoshop stopped working on my computer). My bad >.<!

j-qb, I'm just gonna get rid of most of the extreme dithers, where it's hard to distinguish one color from another, so it'll look like 3 colors instead of four. Sorry for the confusion!
