I was lead to believe that trespassing was a crime. They're the ones who should be arrested.

It's only trespassing if there is a sign or a verbal warning of trespassing, other than that it's perfectly legal to wonder into people's back yards and such.

I heard about this shit today, this is wrong on so many levels, you should not be arrested for what you do in private and if your seen by someone cutting through your yard, its on them.

I walk around naked or half-naked all the time when no one's home because I know (or think I know) that no one can see me and I'm in my own private domain.

I don't see why he had to be arrested for being naked in his own home. It's not like he was in his backyard flaunting himself.

The woman and child obviously had to be on his property (which they probably shouldn't have been) and nosy enough to peek inside his private window.

I hope he's not charged. He didn't do anything wrong.

I remember there being a similar case around Pittsburgh a while back. A guy was arrested for being naked in his backyard, and in turn he sued the city for arresting him. He has a solid fence around his yard, so no one can see in through street level. He claimed that he was not on public property, he was on his property that he owned and that if he wants to be naked on his property than he's allowed to. Court actually ruled in his favor, was pretty funny.

This smells strongly of idiocy. Reminds me of that one case where the burglar sued the owner of the house he was going to rob when he fell through the roof and cut his feet on a couple of knives. Seriously, you'd think the woman just rushed the son away without chucking a fit, trespassing is trespassing.
