Personally, I abhor the 80s. The music, the outfits, the shows - all of it.

I just don't understand how so many people look fondly back at the 80s, especially through "80s theme parties".

I mean, seriously...

The Final Countdown is the best. No contest.

I also enjoy Living on a Prayer. Gotta love that hair metal.

Young man, I do not see Panama or anything by Van Halen on here, which is a travesty. Please fix this.

I'm seeing mainly new wave stuff. Only one mention of greats like Van Halen. And more disputed but nonetheless populars like Bon Jovi. How about:

1) Motley Crue - Wild Side
2) Poison - Nothin But A Good Time
3) Van Halen - Hot For Teacher
4) Faster Pussycat - Bathroom Wall
5) Bon Jovi - Dead Or Alive
6) Dio - Holy Diver
7) Great White - Once Bitten Twice Shy
8) Iron Maiden - Aces High
9) Journey - Don't Stop Believin
Lita Ford - Kiss Me Deadly (Look at the pic, you'd do her)
10) Metallica - Master Of Puppets
11) Ratt - Round And Round

Okay, thats eleven songs, and i could name more. But you can't tell me that there isn't at least one song or artist on that list you like. And what about the Rap/Hip-Hop of the 80's? Nobody has even touched that yet.

ok rap, umm, having early childhood be about 90-92 i remember rappers from the late 80s [ orange pants and shaved initials in their heads ] right about the same time rat tails were in, and everyone had a starter jacket.

so umm...for the record, theres very little rap i actually like

1.) Herbie Hancock - "Rockit"
2.) Run DMC - It's like that
3.) Public Enemy - Rebel Without a Pause

as for "rock"

1.) Alice Cooper - Welome to my Nightmare
2.) Ted Nugent - lol, like you dont know
3.) Van Halen - Aint Talkin bout' love
4.) Mötley Crüe - Dr. Feel Good

what ELSE was good from the 80's you ask?

Two Tribes - Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Peace Sells - Megadeth, Kids of America - Kim Wild, Cars - Gary Numan, (Keep Feeling) Fascination - The Human League ... Yeah I've been playing Vice City again. But there are a lot of good songs from the eighties.
