So yea, the ass fucker at eb games told me that any wired guitar would work with guitar hero 3, I purchased GH3 today for 30 bucks and was excited to play it in suround sound and hi def. ( own the wii version) and i tear appart my house looking for my mother fucking trip cord for the guitar,

I plug it in and navigate threw the menu, and i get an update notice, i get said update and when my game starts back up, the controls are unresopnsive, odd i thought, and then a fucking UNSUPORTED CONTROLER sign pops up...

SO FUCKING Activision relesed a patch that breaks there own game?! I fucking pay 30 bucks out my FUCKINg ass and get shat on because i patch the game? FUCK off.

im never buying another activision product again, and Im going to send them a bill for a new RB guitar just to see the responce because mine is now in about 6 peices.

oh and for future refrence, is there any way to unpatch games on xbox 360?

yes, because he TOTALLY knew exactly what guitar you had, and exactly what hes talking about. the guy was hired to sell games, no matter how much, or how little he knows.

I told him it was the RB 1 wired one and the RB2 wireless one, he said wired one will work and any wired guitar from any manufacture will work.

What, you didn't know Activision was evil? Well surprise, they are. I mean this: NEVER BUY AN ACTIVISION PRODUCT. EVER. If you have to wait for the port, do it. If you have to buy third-party, fine. But never, ever, unless there's a gun to your head, buy Activision.

well he is the owner of the store... we are actualy good friends and i used to consault him for any game related question for the last 5 years, and his advice has never burned me,

but now im burned, im sure he did not do it to me, but activision should go to hell, i mean, GH controlers work on RB games, wtf not the other way around!

Once a patch is done, it's there for good. I have never used a RB guitar. I prefer the explorer.

You can unpatch games on the 360, but it can potentially corrupt other saves. You go to the System Settings menu, and then Memory. Press Y and go to 'Maintenance' or something. If there's nothing appears, I would YouTube it.

I remember doing it when I was trying to make the Oblivion Dupe. glitch work. It didn't work for me.

As far as I'm aware there are no decent Guitar Hero guitars for around £8-9, which is about the equivalent of $15. Can you link me to such a product?

Sorry I cant, My grandma got me one for Christmas with GH3 and I dont have the guitar at hand right now. Also she bought it from Wal-Mart, so I dont know where you could look for one in the stores, or hell just search E-bay enough and you'll find something.

I got a wireless GH3 Les Paul for $20 on ebay lol. Brand new aswell in the box.
