I agree that touchscreen only phones are bad. I have the Samsung Glyde so if my phone's touch stops working, I'm out of luck because you can't navigate with the keyboard. Nevertheless, I still like it.

Well I have used all 3 kinds of phones in the past - QWERTY, touch and the normal keypad.

The normal keypad is the worst of course, but after getting a touch phone I've decided that I could never NOT have a touch screen phone now. It's basically a QWERTY board anyway just touch screen style. Very easy to use, I text so much quicker and I touch type, which is actually easy to do on those tiny things and usually the phones will have built in features that know the correct errors made and will try to help you fix them.

On my iphone, if I accidently type 'dind', it will assume I meant to type in 'find' and change my word to that once I've put the space.

It's fantastic.

1. It's easier to type on.
2. The screen in larger.
3. It has more applications/features.
4. Browsing the Internet is easier.
5. It looks better.
6. There are no sliding parts.
7. The buttons adjust themselves, so you don't have a full keyboard with tiny ass numbers or that new duel-sided keypad shit.

Oh god the letters on a touch screen are a bitch to fucking press. And on the iPhone/iTouch, the auto correcting really fucks you over. Now, the keys are too small for my fingers and I usually end up pressing 2-3 buttons. Not because I'm fat, but because the screen is so small >:C

Also, my dad has the Instinct by Samsung I think and it used to make calls just because he sat down with the phone in his pocket.

I have fat manly hands and I've never had any problems.

It's not about how big your fingers are, just how you press the screen. You don't need to slam your whole fingertip there, just lightly touch is enough, and easy to do.

I was informing you that some touchscreens have built qwerty keyboards. Your argument about typing on a touchscreen is worthless, since you can have a touchscreen phone and not have to use it to type.... I'm also posting from my G1. Works fine for me.

Apps for everything...High speed internet which could be used anywhere and unlike shitty Nokia n97 which was a sorry ass rival you can manipulate the pages with no lag.
