Hey peeps, today, I was watching some movies and just now I realized how some of my favorite movies I've seen isn't about car chases, nor about high action movies dealing with government conspirasies, not about the accuracies put into the movie, but the movies that makes me think.

Last night I was minding my own business watching Jacob's ladder and that thing made me freak the fuck out. It has one plot scene to only realize it immediately switches over to another plot, which immediately switches back to that plot and the only real plot about the whole movie is for Jacob (and the viewers) to wonder what's going on.

Considering it's halloween, I might try getting some movies you guys reccommend for me and my friends since they always give me the jitters more than the other movies.

Btw: the only other movie I seen like that is fight club, which honestly I feel is the best movie of all time, so normally I don't watch that movie near halloween since I have the rest of the year to see it over and over.

One movie I am going to see is donnie darko, someone reccommended it to me in another forum and looking at review/trailer looks pretty awesome.

Soooooo any reccommended movies anyone? To return the favor I bring cookies for everyone

Hay guis, best mind-fuck movie?

Donnie Darko is an excellent film, but I didn't really find it as confusing as I thought I would.

A really nice mindfuck film is Eraserhead. Disturbing too.

However, the best best mindfuck I ever experienced was in text. Catch 22 is an amazing book, if you really want to think about something that is what I would recommend.

Pi is a great film and truly mindfuck like. Its in B&W so you might get a headache from not seeing any color at all. Requiem for a Dream is also a good one too!

Lol. That movie really pushed the envelope with all the sex and drugs. I recommend this.

Pi is also a pretty good mindfuck movie. This movie isn't just a mindfuck for the viewer. The main character really gets mentally raped by his own head (if that makes any sense).

Agreed. They do have a movie made based off of the book. I've never seen it but it looks pretty promising.

Watch The Wall. Awesome movie, and it WILL mindfuck you. There is no plot (its really all in the music), and its mixed between live action and animation. It provides a somewhat decent mindfuck.

Usually whenever that film is brought up I see you immediately jumping at it to criticise it.

There is a plot. A very clearly defined plot.

I have a deep hatred for it, and the people who pretend it's some sort of deep, complex film.

Not saying that anyone here is claiming that, though.

Memento, not really a mind-fuck, but there is a (semi-)surprising plot twist.

Funy no one's suggest Fear and Loathing In Vegas, which while it isn't a great movie at all, terrible even, its a definite Mind Fuck. For good I'll with American Physco and Donnie Darko.
