do you really believe the devil is a literal entity?
More then I believe that there is a God...
I believe that the "devil" is your uncontrolled instincts, and emotions, and with god, I believe that god is, because if you can define god, then what ever you're defining is not god.
it is my opinion that the Christians take things WAY to literal, and don't learn the true meanings, and atheist can see this, they are right that the literal interpretation is wrong, but then they think there is nothing, and it is ALL wrong, rather then the literal point of view.
an example, lets say you buy a ford from a scam artist, the car is a piece of junk, and always breaks down, the atheist thinks all fords are shoddy, and of poor quality, rather then just that one.
now the scam artist was wrong due to him scamming, and deceiving the victim, but the victim was wrong in blaming the cars faults on it being a ford, rather then the scam artist who lied.
Btw, in case you are curious, I'm gnostic in beliefs, but I don't believe in belonging to an actual church, I see spirituality as a much more independent, and personal thing.
