...Anyone else exited? We finally get a Co-op Mario Bros. game where you play at the same time, and a Penguin Suit? Sure, there's no online play and the other two characters besides Mario and Luigi are Toad (Seriously, both of them), but I honestly don't see it taking away from the experience.

\/ My face thinking about this game. \/

So, New Super Mario Bros. Wii...

Meh. I'm paying attention mostly to Tatsunoko vs Capcom, No More Heroes 2, and Sin and Punishment 2.

To be honest, I think online play would kinda suck anyway. The whole point of it is to be raging at your friends in the same room, because they just jumped on your head and sent you to a lava-filled fiery doom.

Then you get pissed and try to strangle your friends with the nunchuk, and they fight back by hitting you over the head with the Wiimote.

Sounds like more fun than getting owned by some cocky 12-year old on the other side of the country.

But is it enough reason in itself to spend so much on a Wii when my last current-gen console purchase turned out to suck Donkey Kong's balls? No. Not even with Brawl and Metroid Prime 3. I'll probably end up playing it someday though, given enough luck. To be honest, if they make it long and hard enough (think two Super Mario World lengths with a little more difficulty), it really does sound like a good game though. I might buy it for my younger cousin, he has a Wii.

It's probably going to be good, but they could have done a lot more with it. The game should have had a level editor similar to LittleBigPlanet. It's a feature that should have been in the Mario series ages ago.

There is a special feature where the computer can take over for you, and beat the difficult levels. That said, Nintendo believes that this means that they can make the game that much harder. So yeah, it should be a nice experience.

My PSN ID is xscoot. Crazy, huh?

I'm pretty sure that spelling excited 'exited' is actually a spelling error, and has nothing to do with grammar.

More excited for Red Steel 2 (because Dante the cowboy sounds somewhat interesting), but I hope that Nintendo tones down the difficulty a bit, because the early playtesters are saying the late levels are Contra hard.

Windows 7 FTW

I can not wait actually. I don't care too much about how it's a co-op game, but more on how they haven't had a 2d Mario game for a home console since the SNES era so I wonder how good this is gonna be. I'm most definetaly getting this game once it hits stores.

I really hope they include a super powerful suit in this game, like the Hammer Bro. suit in SMB3.

While you're at it, get Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles. Wii GOTY for 2009.

According to Nintendo Power, fire flower's fire balls don't have much affect on bosses anymore.

...dammit.

I seem to recall them having the ability to kill bosses ONLY in Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. for the DS. In the first one, it was like 10 fireballs. And in the DS one, it was the same on the first Bowser, but maybe 50 on the final Bowser (plus ten-ish on Baby Bowser).

So we can't sit back and B spam our enemies, big deal.
