Whats the deal with dick size?

For ages I have been wondering why in the fuck is it a good thing your dick has an unbelievable length? I can understand width (chodes), its just pretty abnormal. But why do guys brag how long their dicks are?

Wouldn't it be a bad thing if a guy wants to fuck a girl when he has a big dick, its bad for the girl since theres a high risk of vaginal tears and blood on your cock.

This seems way too small to me, since the average penis is considerably longer than that. Wouldn't that mean that most penises would crash into the cervix repeatedly during intercourse?
