Level 9, still loving Borderlands. Found a few flaws though:

AI kinda sucks when it comes to attention span. They immediatly target the person who is hitting them, so if you are whacking the enemy constantly directing their attention on you constantly whilst your buddy stands by their side shooting them in the head with a shotgun which causes them to do like a backstep animation so they won't attack, they pretty much dont have a chance. We did this to beat Bruiser at like lvl 4.

You can also take advantage of the attention span issue when your buddy is down, you can heal them as long as they make sure all the enemies are attacking them.

And finally, you can get behind some cover with your friend and whilst you duck let your buddy stand up and peek over the edge and get shot by the enemies until he goes down, then you heal them, get a quick 100XP and then repeat. 100XP is nothing though so it's kinda okay.

It's mostly co op though there is a mode called "Duel" where you fight another player already in your co-op party. It's mostly just for fun with the only repercussion being having low health after the fight.

There's also the arenas where it's more of a traditional versus mode. Still kinda sucks though.

I am actualy excited for it but the same thing happend with me and fallout 3 and actuly most of my games.If you just give it a try im sure youd love it,im trying to save up enough money to get the game i think its gona be relley fun.If you do get it please pm me and tell me how fun it is!

Sorry to clarify my point I don't mean like Call of Duty matchmaking with deathmatch and such. What I am trying to ask is if there is a system that searches for random open games?

This game kicks ass if you have a good group of friends to play with.

In my case a soldier with support gunner and hunter with survivor class mods helping me.
I used tormentor class mod with my siren and we basically tore through the game the first time around.

The 2nd playthrough is a lot harder though because it maxes you out at 50 and by the time you get to Old Haven you will be getting fucked up by the Crimson Lance Wardens and Rocket Turrets because you're at most only 2 levels above them and it only gets worse from there. If your entire party doesn't have really good legendary Atlas weapons by the time you get to the Crimson Lance Enclave you will not make it.

I'll start a new character just for you, I plan on getting all 4 of them to level 50 before I finally put the game on the shelf anyway. ;) It sucks that you might not get the game until Monday, really bad timing with the whole post thing. You may get it on the Sunday though, I received my game from Lagamuffin on a Sunday so there is still hope.

Has anyone managed to find a good Eridian weapon btw? All the ones we seem to find are like a joke version of a different weapon type, The Ballblaster = Combat Rifle and Lightning Gun = Sniper and so on. They are all really fucking shit from what I have seen.

I'm diggin this game. Me n my buddy have been playing co-op, and I'm not going to say it's anything like Fallout. What I will say, is that it gives me a Champions feeling with all the random weapon stats. But let's be honest, if you've played a game like Champions, or maybe an online pc game, then when they say "Bazillions of weapons", you know they just mean a random stat here and there. That's one of the few cons I have on this game, the skins on the weapons havent really been too impressive, and look repetative. Buuuut I love co-op games, I dig shooters, I like RPGs. It's just been a win win in my experience.

Though with the lack of story, you'd figure character customization could have been implied.

Well im level 36 now, ive finished killed what I believe to be the final boss, The Destroyer. I went back from where you kill him and instead of fast traveling out I instead went back into the caves and spent a good half an hour trying to climb back up, then I gave up. Thanks to Kunera though I got out.

Then alls I could do was continue to finish what missions I had left. I've finished all of them now apart from one or more in Rust Commons, I cant find the person who assigns you to the quest though. :/

Anyone know where I can go to level up at 36+? ..of course most of you do, you're all like level 50 yourselves now.
