New Alien Planets?

Nearly 36 new alien planets, similar to the size of earth, were discovered as of 10:17 AM today. Could these possibly be a safe haven for the infamous "2012 apocalypse"? Pretty interesting.

I don't see why we need to spend so much money on outer fuckin space. It's not like we will ever have the technology to get as far as we can see. We could use some of that money on something more useful that we could use on Earth.

Sorry to say this, but earth is doomed by general global population idiocity. If is not the envirronment that gonna kill us, it will be ourself. ( One thing is sure, WW3 will be about ressource like water, petroleum and shit like that)

True, but this does lead to possibilities. The size of the planets are the same in size, and though it may be inhabitable as of now, they may lead to a safe place to transport.

Not that we may need it. "2012" is probably just another government attack to send us in panic, then make themselves look amazing when they "prevent it" from happening.

I'm pretty sure the word alien=foreign.

As for the 2012 thing, that's just silly, moving to another planet won't be needed since it's not real, and we wouldn't have the time to travel there anyways.

Well, if you put the universe into a Time line (Which is impossible, seance it has no begging and ultimately is the begging of time) life has only existed for a short amount of time. Very short. The chances of more then one form of life existing at the same time is....like...dividing by 0.

If a life form was advanced enough to be able to travel trough space fast and far enough and being able to transport enough people other inhabitable places, the race essentially wouldn't ever die out if they just split the people up. Of course, this is horribly flawed.

Turns out the doctor guys was dead the entire time.

I just can't get excited over the artist's rendering. Not enough lasers.

They said they can't detect any atmospheres. If that means because they doubt they are there, then I doubt those planets have life. If it's just because theyre so far away, well then they should continue working on that.
