nice way to stereotype, stairway to heaven isnt the best rock song ever, dont get me wrong i LOVE zeppelin but it is definitely not their best work.

It's more like Rock Lover = Freebird.

There can't be just one song that defines a genre. It would just expose the shallowness, and therefore inferiority of that genre.
I couldn't really name you one song I like above all others in any genre I listen to.
