Seriously, I think if it won't get more than 2.5 in the portal if submitted alone, it's probably not good enough to be submitted with the collab.

I say you should do it. Then you can make the actual thread since you're the leader, maybe post a list of participants so far and all that.
If you get this locked, make a new thread first how you see fit. Then message knugen about it. I said I'd send you his way, just so he knows you have every right to do with the thread as you see fit.
