Lost lots of ''C: disk space''

Hello,

recently there was a file on flash portal called ''Orgasm Girl 2'' and that little malicious file auto-spawned and poped-up windows which wasted lots of disk space.

I don't know how to remove them now. Any help?

You shouldn't have clicked it in the first place. Titles may be tempting, but look at the file size. It might give you a clue.

If everyone used that logic, the portal would be full of spam with no views. With the new view, the flash could just auto play, so it's a problem with Newground safety, not the user.

If this happened to me, I would first try to do a system restore, then try to find the file myself, and if all else fails, back up all my shit and do a clean OS install.

If you're having virus troubles, i recommend Malware Bytes. All you need to do is save the installer to your desktop, install the program, run it and let it scan. It's much more efficient than even Symantec, so i highly recommend it.

Actually the submission in question was a Chris Beer file swapped special. It was quite nasty, and only a small file size, but nothing happened until you pressed play, then it just auto-spawned homosexual pop ups like crazy. I PM'ed LilJim about it and he had it deleted within 2 minutes.

If that thing saved some information on your C drive, your best chance is to manually pick apart through it (assuming you know what belongs) and delete it. If not, and you're one of the billion decent computer users who were always warned to retain C drive for vital things, you could just reinstall the programs you need after you re-format the C drive.

There was no play button because it had been no longer in under judgment. But now I see that even ''bad'' authors have some sort of business here...

Looks like that I have no alternatives but look for the hidden crap manually. I'm sure I can figure out how to find them.

More cautiousness next time and this may not happen again.
