I'll be honest with you, I don't enjoy wearing a school uniform. I'd rather put on a good t-shirt and a decent pair of jeans. I'd look better, I'd feel better, I'd be more comfortable and, because of that, work a lot better. I don't know about you, but I work a lot better in a relaxed environment, rather then a strict environment.

Well, there was a time where I was sent to a "disciplinary action" school because of some less than good things I did a while back..

The thing there was that we had to wear jeans with less than 5 pockets, a belt, shoes with no colors, and a black shirt. I was fine with it, but the only thing I didn't really like was that we had to tuck our shirts in. Otherwise I was fine with it. But if the schools had actual uniforms like suits and shit, no. Fuck no.

In my high school, wearing a uniform is required. What's even worse is that my principal is going to make us wear our formal uniform 100% of the time next year, rather then our sports uniform.

I probably wouldn't mind having to wear a uniform to school. However, I don't think it would help the students educationally.

You do have a good point, but I'd still say that casuals are way better, because uniforms are a total waste of money, and yes, it keeps out the rep of one's specialty(Preppy/Glamorous/Sexy, Emo/Punk/Goth, Skater/Gangster/Delinquent), but their reputation may be obvious already in there personality, and attitude, but only some though.

They don't bother me at all, in fact, I kinda like 'em.

Teachers in my school aren't too strict about it tbh, just roll up your shirt so it looks like it's tucked in before you go into the class and you'll be fine.

It's not really that bad having to wear a uniform, If I had no uniform I would struggle to choose what to wear everyday

Not at all.

I think it can actually hinder your concentration actually - If you're in a strict school who make students wear blazers in the hot summer and the class is boiling that can be worse really. I know I used to hate the summer with a uniform.

I know, weird is exactly what I was thinking. I couldn't imagine schools NOT having uniforms over here.
