depends.

also depends. If you're creating a song entirely out of loops, then no, they're not. If you've created a majority of the song's content yourself, then you'll probably be fine.

3: Can you use other users material to remix?

Yes. The creative commons license allows you to build upon other people's work, so long as you credit the original author, and do not use the work commercially.

Apple loops are NOT allowed at all.
If you submit them an audio mod will place a permanent ban on you so you wont be able to submit music.

Drum loops are allowed as long as you dont BLATANTLY use them. try chopping them and do some layering. throw in some of your own hits or a simple beat you made to go with it.

basically they want you to submit music that YOU CREATED not music you organized and pasted together.

hope that clears things up and welcome to the AUDIO PORTAL!

check out that link... its a database of EVERYTHING youll need to lurk through in order to get a better understanding of the audio portal.
And dont forget to have fun making music!

Apple loops is just a format, similar to acidized wav or rex files... you can make them yourself, so technically they're perfectly fine. Though the apple loops included in Logic and Garageband are very easy to recognize, and must be used very carefully, preferably not at all. Loansindi's post sums it up nicely, common sense helps as well :)
