The PSP Go is stupid. $250 for a redesign and it doesn't even have a UMD drive. I think it doesn't even have the same memory stick system the regular PSP has. So, you're basically paying $50 for a sliding screen and you still have to buy your games all over again. Sony has been making some really bad choices and this is just one of them.

it's better not to think of it as a redesign, it's better to think of it as a successor.

Its a nice try to upgrade their hand-held device, but handheld devices need to be cheaper than the large consoles in my POV 250 dollars not worth it

It has no real thing with it that I would even call an update. Smaller screen, no drive, no second analogue stick.
It's more like a repackaged PSP.
I'm hoping it's only a go-between for something better. Much like Vista, really.

I understand what you are saying but i think the psp go was intended more for new customers not for those that already have a psp.

A successor would be a PSP 2. This is not a PSP 2. They have already had 2 redesigns, this was highly uneeded since there is no real advantage that the PSP Go has that is worth the extra money.
