the fuck, those ads are what pays 11 fulltime employees working at Newgrounds + all sorts of contest-awards. the frontpage banner-curtain ads are probably the most decorative and good looking ads on the whole page too - not to mention a whole lot of the internet.

also, the ads on NG are well programmed into place and whatnot, so that it won't slow the damn site down. be glad those ads are there, or you'd have no gay little BBS to whine about petty details.

I think Newgrounds should force us to watch a commercial before each movie or game loads like Hulu does. Then also watermark all the pictures from the Art Portal like ebaumsworld. Then there should be a link in every thread persuading us to donate money to this site a la Wikipedia.

The ads really don't bother me. They're there for money for the site. If not for the ads, you wouldn't have been able to post on the BBS to complain about the ads (paradox?). Just ignore them. They won't hurt you.
