then make a new layer, select the first frame, and select the sound you want to play fromt eh sound box in the properties bar, and put it on stream, and make sure that layer goes the whole length of your animation. Lock this layer so you dont use it for anything else or make keyframes.

The can not open file flash was unable to read 1 or more files. it dose that will all my music dose it have to be in a particular format.

some MP3s dont work for some unknow reason. Convert it to a .wav using something like soundbooth or audacity, or if you dont have anything, just google "online MP3 to WAV convertor" and you dont even have to download anything.
