I let my friend put a lighter to my heel and nows it's swelled up and looks like this. I don't want to show my parents for fear of punishment for being myself. is it gonna pop or should I put ice on it or something, I have nfi what to do but its swelled a fair bit and it stings like a pain.

and fuck, im about to go out with my mum to buy new school shoes. gonna be a fucking pain, ill post more or whatever when i get back, hope she doesn't find out while we're there...

anyway, any advice on the situation would be appreciated, especially medical advice on how to treat it. cool.

It's probably just a blister, some people pop it, and then treat it with a solution. This can happen from walking to much in unfitting shoes, so if your really worried just use that excuse. Of course I'm not a doctor, and I only know because I ALWAYS have blisters, and I tend to let them pop, then treat them, and bandage them, but if you don't pop it naturally, don't pop it at all. It can also cause problems.

Trying to hide a foot blister from 'mum' and you're going to get new shoes... Can't you just say the old ones were getting really bad if she asks about it?

Right, acid. That explains everything now. So... Can't you just say the old ones were getting really bad if she asks about it?

not answering his question at all

This can happen from walking to much in unfitting shoes

what does this have to do with anything

so if your really worried just use that excuse.

okay, fair enough

Of course I'm not a doctor, and I only know because I ALWAYS have blisters, and I tend to let them pop, then treat them, and bandage them

this is useful information. it is made of advice and retardery

but if you don't pop it naturally, don't pop it at all. It can also cause problems.

but if you don't pop it, don't pop it. it can cause problems. cause problems to or not to pop it?

2nd degree burn, I got one on my arm about that size when boiling popcorn grease splashed on it.

You have to pop it, get a safety pin, be sure to sterilize it first, and just stick that needle right in. I only made a small hole and squeezed out all the liquid inside but you can do whatever you want, then just peel the skin off and your good.

It won't hurt, that skin is dead, the new skin under it will be tender so wear a band-aid.

Also, prepare for a scare, I still have a birth mark-esque scar on my arm from mine.

In response to your call of distress... we're the best.

Ok wait, if you're trying on new shoes just try it on the other foot.
Problem solved!

Also, why the fuck would you allow a lighter to your heel?

It's a blister, it'll go away soon. Just DON'T FUCKING POP IT. It will hurt like fuck and the skin might get infected. Get some bandages and wrap it up, so it won't rub off. It'll shrink back soon.

Again, DON'T POP IT. Even though pushing the liquid around feels cool.

Basically, the skin below is damaged, so pus fills the gap and keeps it from getting infected while it heals.

Best advice so far.

Went to the show stores and got some sweet new kicks, no problems at all. Probably just got gonna pop it. And just out of interests, are there ways to burn myself without getting a massive fucking blister?

That's not a good idea, considering that it can easily get infected.
