I personally think it should take place in Baghdad

You may not get it from the past nine games or so, but a GTA games always takes place in an American city.
I don't even know why I bothered posting this.

Except for both London games.

Oh every game should be in the exact same city? Gee, that's creative.
I don't see anything wrong with a Foreign setting. But they can't go and make the game all about how fucking epic the city looks without filling it with things to do. That was the problem with GTA 4. Mission Variety isn't very difficult.

I think it would be pretty cool if there was a GTA located in hawaii. I think my favorite GTA was Vice City mainly because of its environment/setting.
gta 5 should be in vice city, how cool would a modern vice city be?

Yeah, but they need to remodel it to make it smaller, and take out helicopters. Look at the success that brought IV.

I was being sarcastic. Anybody who's played a GTA game has played IV, then never played it again.
Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton.
Toronto: Could you imagine going up in the CN Tower in that game?
Montreal: Could you imagine all the french?
Vancouver: Could you imagine being able to go to Rockstar Vancouver and destroying it because they made Bully?
Edmonton: West Edmonton Mall, anyone?
Yes, I picked all Canadian places.

GTA IV is a great game and I don't see how people think it has so many flaws...
I played through it twice. Liked it both times.

GTA IV was an awesome game. But compared to San Andreas or Vice City, it was mediocre. The lack of involving mini-missions was key.

Not exactly what I was referring to...
.
Vice city. All they need to do is thicken it like they did with gta III.Add subways, Maybe add parts of orlando. Also, Add Grand theft auto 4's features but add Alot more.
If not vice city, San Andreas would be nice as well. And unlikely, Tokyo.

From the looks of it Gay Tony might just redeem the game in my opinion since they bring back a lot of the essential features originally left out.

I'm hoping they revisit Vice City again. I love that game so much. It needs to keep the 80s setting though, a modern day Miami-like city would suck ass.
yeah another vice city would be great! i loved the theme, and mostly the music :D hehe
if they do make another vice city, it should still have that old classic theme but perhaps a bit m ore modern? maybe like a new island that is like a rain forest and youd do sneaky missions. hawaii would kinda be coolish.
of course, side missions are what makes the game have tons of replay value!
GTA5 should also have gyms to work up stats like in SA :) and all GTA are based around a city setting so cant really expect GTA V : Baghdad to happen
I'd like to see some sort of GTA: Las Vegas. I mean I know they went into the Las Vegas scene a little in San Andreas, but if GTA V will be anything like IV (in that they keep it to one city, rather than a few) then I think Las Vegas would be an interesting setting. With their latest graphics, I think driving up and down the strip would look amazing. Also, since this is pretty much the gambling capital of the world, the possible crime family related stories that could be introduced are endless.
It would also be nice to be something more than just a contract killer this time around. When playing GTA IV that's all you seemed to do.

lol, GTA already gets alot of negative attention, if it would be placed in Baghdad that would be even worse I think
No the key to GTAIV's failure was the realism. The cheat system was too, complicated, instead of remembering an ass load of buttons to mash through the controller, you had to go through this remedial cell phone system. That's the way it should be; pure, fun.
Not serious.
Also the cheats sucked. UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT TANK? WHERE IS THE TANK!
