We should have a forum where you put your complaints about the ads. Tom will look at them daily and whoever posts gets their account locked and must pay 56 dollars a day to keep using it. Because NG needs money.

This kind of reminds me of back in the day in which every page you clicked would spawn 2 popups. Never stopped me from coming to the site though (and a lot of people with me), I wouldn't expect you guys to get your way any time soon. Newgrounds obviously needs the money, especially since it is Tom's and probably most of the crew's primary source of income.

Getting some kind of Newgrounds premium membership wouldn't be too bad of an idea if it were to be thought out well enough that is.

it is a matter of where you spend your time... how often do you see the advertisments... on the front page... you will get over it eventualy... just bare with it...

Every time, every damn time that motherfucking ad changes General gets at least one of these stupid ass threads bitching about how the ad is somehow draining NG of its glamor and lining Toms pockets with Jew gold.

Have any of you ever tried to create a website? It's not cheap for bandwidth, hosting, registration, etc of a small personal website, let alone a HUGE site like NG that has its own staff and businessplace.

The $100 give away each month, the thousands of dollars in prizes, the userpages, the hosting, as NG grows larger it's going to take more and more money to keep the site functioning. At least the front page ads are appealing, instead of some distracting, talking flash ad. Be grateful NG doesn't have popups or "congratulations! You're won a free iPod!" blasting from your speakers constantly.
