Super Nuke Bros. Melee is a Super Smash Bros fangame developed by Callum Stamp and TaroNuke. The game works very similarly to Smash Bros, but with alterations, new characters and stages and more!

Daily updates have begun on the site, and a playable demo is there. I, myself am working as the game's musician (Note: we do have other musicians working as well), a beta tester, and a general handyman.

What I ask is for feedback on this game. We have plenty already, but it's nice to get some constructives for once.

If you want, we also have a forum you can sign up to in which much exclusive discussion happens.

So, comments would be happily appreciated!

Clearly a lot of work went into this, so nice job at the quality level. You're looking for constructive suggestions, so I'm not going to beat around the bush here. Just know so far it seems pretty awesome.

-It is very frustrating not to have mouse controls in the menus. If you played with a game pad, that would make sense, but for a PC the main input is the mouse.

-The jumping feels off. I think it's that Up is the default jump, perhaps. Or maybe just that I'm used to playing with an actual controller.

-The Goombas hit you WAY too hard at first. You should just be hit back a small amount if you haven't taken a hit yet.

-I couldn't get Vs. to work at all. Maybe you didn't do that mode yet, but when I got to the character select it was just broken and I couldn't select anything but Items. Again, no mouse controls.

Anyway, nice start, and good luck with it! I have work to do so I couldn't dive in any deeper, but if I have time later I'll try to offer more suggestions.

Holy shit! U know that cleod 9 is making somthing similar www.mcleodgaming.com U should look into it as for this demo its awesome but the gameplay is laggy dunno why. You should include a range of charecters outside of super smash bros brawl. Like.... Megaman!

Mouse controls are used in the menu. Point and click!

If you don't like the default controls, change them!

This is an issue that will need fixing.

Drag the pointer onto the character selection, you should see small coloured discs at the bottom of the screen.
