Who is the greatest rapper/hip-hop artist of all time?
My opinion -- Lupe Fiasco
He is an all around amazing artist. From the in depth song structure and concepts to the complexity if his lyrics to his remarkable flow on any beat, he is the most talented rapper of all time in my opinion.
So, that is just my opinion.. What are YOUR thoughts?

Kool G. Rap is my personal favorite, and if it weren't for him and Rakim there would be no Lupe, Eminem, etc.
Best Rap Group I would say is either Wu-Tang or The Roots.

You can't really say that there's honestly a best Hip Hop artist of all time, because there's so many different styles, and such a great number of brilliant practitioners of these styles.
The styles also are always changing, so perhaps the best of all time hasn't happened yet.

For all who do not see the beauty in real rap, you are missing out on a lot. Rhythm and Poetry is the core meaning of the genre. It transformed into a genre that was all about the "bitches and hoes" when everyone tried to be a part of it but lacked the talent to do so. Somehow this garbage became what rap is famous for, but if you look deeply into the lyrics of true artist... You will see the same beautiful poetry that you appreciate in your rock, pop, and any other form of music. There is trashy forms of ALL genres and rap just so happens to be represented by its trash. But put the garbage behind the store and walk into a store that has a wide perspective to offer.
