0's for no reason

Do you ever go to your current favorite flash, and then sort all the reviews by score and go to the last page just to piss yourself off by reading the reviews that you disagree with? I do, for some reason.

Well anyway, what I mainly wanted to talk about: It seems that all of the mega-popular movies or games get at least a few 0-star reviews. This review on the bottom is a good example. So what, animation isn't everything, but it has to be something at least. Certainly that deserves it more than a 0, right? I believe people just do this to get a negative point across, which is unfair. Anything that really deserves a 0 shouldn't even pass.

So I just thought I'd say, don't give a 0 or a 1 or whatever to something, just because you don't like it and are trying to outweigh all the 10's.

(PS: Yes, I don't think this belongs in the Where is/How to board because this is more of a discussion about user behavior, not content on the site.)

Who cares about the reviews?
All they do is give a person an idea of what others think of the flash. More than half the people play the flash regardless of what the reviews say anyway.

Therefore, basically making the reviews only earn certain flashes a trophy for having Review Crew Choice of the Week or whatever the fuck it is.

Reviews don't bother me, not even on my own shitty flashes. I give myself the worst criticism anybody can imagine, even if I do a good job on something.
Reviews shouldn't bother you that much man, especially over something as little as a flash.

Maybe I just wanted to try and be a revelation to those that do give 0's just to get a negative point across. In my super-fantasy world, they'd read this thread and think,
"Wow this Davoo genius is totally right! I should stop giving 0's for no reason from this moment on."

Oh yeah, and this same rule also applies to giving 10's just to get a positive point across. I actually remember a period of time when I was even noobier than I am now, and was giving 10's to everything. But now, I've given myself a personal rating theory to go by. Now I give 10's to hardly anything.

The review system is pretty fuckin annoying, you can get banned for disagreeing with the popular opinion basically. I've had well written reviews on flashes that I truly didnt like giving it a 0 or a 1 or something and a lot of them got deleted
and on the other hand I reviewed 10 on one of my friends flashes, saying I liked it, and now I'm review permabanned
whatevs, I guess. It's not like I want to review flashes really bad right now or something, but every once in a while I'll go to review something and remember I'm banned, and the ban carries to the art/audio portal too. Pretty gay yo ~!

I know most users of NG are anti-youtube for whatever reason, but I kind of envy the ability youtube gives its users to vote on comments. I know we can vote on whether a review is 'useless' or 'helpful', but with youtube you can actually see how many people voted in the majority direction. Six thumbs down and the comment is removed. As easy as that. And usually they only get removed if the posters were really being a jackass.

What story? All it is is bitey going around pissing everyone off. Infact, I just summed up the brackenwoon sieries. Sorry but its true, By the end of EVERY episode nothing new is revield about bitey and nothing is contiruted to the plot.

Yes, just click that yellow x button there in the bottom right corner of a review if it is abusive.

A lot of time My 0's get removed because they are flagged as abusive when they are not.
And I write another 0 review shortly after, and contnue to 0 the submission every day for all of eternity.

0/10: It was good, but too short.
0/10: I loved the graphics and gameplay, but the music got kind of repetitive.
0/10: The player should have less health but more lives.
0/10: Next time, put lighting effects on the graphics. Otherwise, great movie!
