Does anybody know why some mp3's wont import to the Adobe flash library?

No, there's no reason they shouldn't. Is it giving you an error?

Maybe the files are broken?

Not all audio files can be imported into flash, it has something to do with the kbps.
Try editing the file with an audio editor and give it a lower kbps, should work then.
You can use Audacity.
