Wacom Pen Help! :( 2009-10-14 22:16:55 Reply

Is my wacom pen broken?
I had it in my shirt pocket, and it fell into the sink while I was washing my hands,
it got really wet.

Now it doesn't seem to write, although the eraser does still work...
It's been like this all day.

I don't see why it isn't working, I mean the pen has no electric parts,
I think it's magnet based.

Anyone know if I'm screwed, or if it will eventually work itself out?
I really don't want to dish out $70.00 for a new pen.

Any advice, or help would be appreciated.

Let it dry for a few days.

A drop is the number one killer of magnets, so if it is magnet based, it may be screwed. I'm sorry.

Sometimes my Wacom mouse gets a little funny, so I just restart the computer. I assume you already did that though. Looks like you're going to have to replace it.

Or call/email Wacom, they may be able to help! Good luck.
