changes the speeds of motion tweens, so if you have it near the bottom and then curve up to the top about halfway through, it will go reallys slow and about half way through, speed up and travel nearly the whole distance of the tween.
AHHHHHHHH ok i see so it lengthens time in the show basically Ahhhhhh so explane how in as much detail as to how this stuff works exactly.
well, try it out yuorself. Just think of the bottom left as the start of the tween and the top right as the end of it, and the steepness of the cirve as the speed. So if you have a steep curve it speeds it up for that part of the tween and if you have a shallow curve it dosent go as fast in that part, and it happens at different parts of the tween according to where it is. Its not really very usefull, but if you have CS4 you can sue the motion editor and change a whole load of stuff like the x and y motion, and 3D rotaiton and bounce and whatever.
Essentially easing is what makes animation go from average to really well done looking. In real life people don't just stop and start instantly, they slow down as they approach the end of their movement. So use easing a lot to add that extra layer to your tweens. It really does make a huge difference. :)
Ease is inertia. It makes things take time to change speed.
