I prefer orange for Halloween layouts but this one isn't bad. The head banner isn't too pink-ish for my tastes and the side headers are really good. Much better than the previous ones.

At first I didn't realize that the two sides were half of a picture, and thought that there were two standalone monster like figures. The right half by itself looks kind of like a Big Daddy from Bioshock with the shoulder pad being the giant head.

Does this mean that other artists who submit good enough pictures to the art portal have the chance to be featured on the front-page?
I feel like this is something that could be turned something weekly, IE: one day a week a new submission is highlighted to the front page?

It looks great IMO. I was expecting something more... Orange but that would be too similar to the normal layout, I think the staff did a great job. The header is awesome.

I really do like the purple and pink mixed theme. It gives me a sence of errieness and spookyness. Staff did a damn good job.

I think they avoid doing that because of the need to take portions of the site down. :/
If you remember the April Fools Joke as it came into being, there was quite a bit of time where the rolling changes came into play and the site wasn't completely usable.

I love the steam punk picostien. At least that's what I thought when I first saw it. He even has a silver streak in his hair. Damn this has a lot of detail. My favorite part is the tankmen getting chased up a tree. Top notch.
