well the arms looks VERY odd... its like its made of plastic/ rubber... also i take it you did an anime style... needs improvement... more time spent on it... use of either black pen (inking) or stronger shades of grey...

You should use some better lighting in your photo or invest in a scanner. Any detail that was there can't be made out.

Most of the issues are in the bust line and the outstretched arm. I'd say to adjust those two objects. Take a picture of yourself doing the pose and try to recreate it if you are having trouble.

The bust should work as the middle, about where the nipples would be, should be just a little past the armpit line, if they are about that size.

The rest doesn't seem that bad, the eyes are kinda weird though, but it could be considered style.

I was thinking of editing it with photoshop to make it look more like a manga, or flash to go for a more cartoon look... I hope your not saying its impossible :P

You could easily improve the photo by focusing the lens on the image and improving the lighting. Right now the picture is blurry, tinted and low-contrast.

I was feeling kind at the and tried to play with levels to improve the contrast of the image. Sadly, I didn't do so well.
