Today is my 19th birthday today, though, and I can't really think of anything else fun to do on a Tuesday. It's a completely nude "performance arts theater."

I can't order drinks until I'm 21 so I can't go to a bar or anything. I just want to try something new.

Do I need to bring assloads of extra money? Should I bring a girl with me or is that just something you don't do at strip clubs?

I usually always make the best of everything and have the time of my life anytime I go out though, so I'm not worried. Just curious.

I'd say bring a good amount of money with you, maybe about $100, you probably won't spend that much but it's always good to bring a little extra just in case. Also, you're probably better off not drinking there anyway. I went to a strip club with a couple friends one time and one of them got drunk and blew over $200 that night. What's worse is he paid for a lapdance and he was so drunk he started falling asleep while he was getting it.

I frequently go to strip clubs, here is a little advice,

1 ) If there is no bouncer at the door, dont go. thease are usualy full of gangs / violent people. And there is no control over who gets in, Me and my friends found this out the hard way and ended up being chased out by a bunch of thugish assholes with knives,

2) if you can hear the music from outside, GO IN! If you cant hear any music from outside, there sound system sucks or they are abiding to the stupid db limit and that hinders the experence.

3) If there are people hanging around outside, good chance it is a gang hang out... avoid,

4) big name clubs or franchises are your best bet for an enjoyable night, they usualy have good control over who they let in and kick out people doing things they should not be doing, like fighting.

Mind you most of those only apply in big cities, if you live in a 1 or 2 strip bar town, you should be ok. but in a place like windsor, it is kinda iffy,

There was one in dc that was a bit more upper class. Business men and such were having their scotch and seeing girls shake it. That one had quality girls. My advice would be not to skimp. Its a tough economy or whtaever but you get what you pay for in terms of the quality of girls.

Sounds exactly like the place i'll be at. Council Bluffs, IA has a bad reputation for being mainly trailor trash. (no offense to people that might live in a trailor, but i think everyone understands the stereotype). I live across the river.

A couple things you need to keep in mind when going to a strip club, especially for the first time:

1) Have fun
2) These girls are PAYED to make you think that they actually like you, so don't get butthurt when a hot naked girl gives you a lapdance, and then completely ignores you the rest of the night, while macking on every other guy there. It's her job.
3) Lapdances are $20, vip room is $100. Depending on your state you live in, the VIP room can be very worth it, or a waste of money. Lap dance is usually 1 song long (3-5 minutes) vip room is usually 5 songs long (25 or so minutes)
4) Don't stay too long, you'll get bored as shit.
5) Flirt with the waitresses, they don't get hardly any attention, and are more likely to actually have a real personal conversation with you, and you might score some digits. you can "but them a drink" (the waitresses) and they can sit at your table for a few songs.
6) Set an amount of money you're willing to spend. but as it's your first time going, you shouldn't pay for your first dance (unless your friends are shitty friends, when I say you shouldn't pay for your first dance, I mean one of your friends should pay for it)
7) Take your time in choosing the girl you want, and when you do, let her know it's your first time, you might get a little extra attention.
8) If a stripper comes up and is VERY demanding of a lapdance, turn it down, chances are she's had a slow night, and is going to half ass it. Tell her you're gay, or say "I can't get a lapdance from you, you're somebody's daughter" Works every time.
