Okay, so this thread is about newgrounds being better than kongregate. If you don't know what they are, they are 2 flash websites I am comparing. Anyway, suppose you don't have flash. Not saying I don't. What is there to do? On newgrounds, you can earn medals from games to keep you there. It's pretty fun. You can also vote on people's flash, and you have the power to remove those submissions. The part above is about "Why the hell did you sign up if you don't have flash?" In kongregate, there's just some chat thing. I can't even sign up, no matter what age I input. Okay, so the features. Newgrounds and kongregate both have games, of course. But does kongregate have... Movies, or audio, or art, or even secret games that you can earn by getting a certain number of exp. points on your NG account? NO. But, I don't know for sure, but I bet kongregate doesn't give awards and prize money to users who make awesome flash. Okay. That's it for now, I said it, and I'll say it again. I do agree NewGrounds is better than Kongregate. But do some research before posting. Kong does have art and awards for top flash authors. There's also badges which are like medals.

I think Kongregate is good new and clean but i think newgrounds has a lot more talent and history and the feedback for your work is amazing

Sir,you need to do better research when trying to bash something or the something will bash YOU!
Of course Kongregate has a level system,and you can vote on the games,too! You say that you can't delete flash from Kongregate but since Kongregate only puts the better ones on the page,it is not needed to remove anything! They put the best flash games from NG on their site! At least it is TROLL FREE! You also can get badges there,but I personally find medals much cooler :3

The chat-system is good,and NG needs that,too! But Kongregate has something what I really really LOVE on this site: when playing a game,your highscore gets saved and everyone can see what a good player you are! I made an all-time high score on Pirate Golf Adventure and now my name is listed there :D I saw that people are demanding here on NG for a high score ranking for Toss the Turtle...well,on Kongregate you have this,too!! So Kongregate and NG complement each other and people should be registered at both sites!! So stop your needless ranting sir! You should love Kongregate :3

This topic was made tons of times... they are different websites with different goals... NG is more community oriented and out to enrich not only the flash scene but also expanding to art / music / writing etc. Kongregate is heavy on the games aspect. NG is proud of its userbase and its own staff is regularly mingling with the users and participating in themed days and contests, its more personable. It embraces the contraversial artists, the cartoon poon artists, the mainstream artists, the angsty teen artists, the omg i made my first flash0rz etc. Its an everything by everyone community.

comparing them is stupid and a waste of time really. The internet is vast and open, you can goto both websites just the same.

True words by a great artist.

Like lou lou said Kong is more games orentated but the user base is smaller and the site is younger thats probably explains the lack of trolls.
Everyone knows NG, Kong not as much but NG will always be the first .that dosn't however mean that Kong will never overtake NG its possible but unlikely since most of the pros are here.
1 thing i think is better though is the theme , i can instantly recognize it and it feels so sleek but almost grunge in a way the black and yellow rocks , probably the most original theme on the web

Newgrounds is the best for me. Because we can find everything here. Everything by Everyone. It's a community, a very large one, where people share talents, mess around, play games, watch movies, create and just do different shit.

I frequent NG much more often (as in I only go on Kongregate about twice a month), but I think your opinion is incredibly biased. Kongregate is just oriented differently, NG is more audience participatory, where Kongregate is more strictly run.

Firstly, don't compare Kongregate to NG because it says you've only been on this site for a month.

Secondly, don't be a pussy and telltale on everyone just because they're using bad language.
