I've noticed that there are constantly campaigns for breast cancers, and some organization is always raising money for it. Yet, I've never heard anything about testicular cancer. Maybe it's not as common, but is it neglected, or have I over looked something?

Nobody cares about your balls.

The breasts are beautiful. They are an object of desire. They have many nicknames. They are almost worshipped and obsessed over. Why would anyone want something bad to happen to something so awesome??

Your balls are like the retarded ugly sister who got locked in the basement after being brought home. Sorry, dude.

- Breast cancer can affect men
- Testicles are purposely separated from the body, to keep cooler temperatures so that sperm aren't deformed (thus, there's less likelihood of spreading the cancer to other vital organs, whereas breasts are right next to many vital organs)
- Surgically removed breasts visibly alter a patient's physique, whereas missing balls are pretty much unnoticed.

There's also a reality factor. Women tend to want to support other women because they empathize more. Whereas, men who hear about other dudes with testicular cancer are probably 'lolshitsucksyo'. That, and I'd be willing to bet that the breast cancer walks and organizations and the like were established first. I have this impression that breast cancer is more common that I don't know is true or not.

I know that breast cancer is either the leading killing cancer in women, or maybe just the most common.

Testicular cancer is fairly rare however I think.

I think testicular cancer generally has like a 90 percent survival rating so nobody cares about it that much...plus its rare, kinda. Breast cancer is just a convenient thing to bitch about and a fairly common cancer type in women.

I enjoy taking long walks on the beach, eating chicken at BBQ's and makin sweet sweet love...to everyone.

Don't get me wrong. man, I love boobies. However, I'm just saying that it's because there are misandrist feminists which is why we don't have things for men. I think prostate cancer walks for men would be important, because it's very detrimental and has the ability to spread quite easily to vital organs.

You can change that. You can create a ribbon for it, t-shirts, and create hype for it on your own by slowly building people together for support.

I don't want any guy to suffer from testicular cancer and would gladly wear a shirt that says, "Save the balls."

If I were tied up, would you ring my bell?

You said "boobies"
Boobies. While trying to make a serious point.

I mean, it's nothing to do with the fact that you're wrong here, but you sound very immature.
You sound like someone that's talking about a conspiracy of feminists right after finding out what misandry means.

Prostate cancer is a horrible, detrimental disease that affects a lot of men, but they do advocate for treatment and help for it, just not as loudly as breast cancer.

The doctors always tell you to get your prostate checked out if you're a man over 50, like pretty much every single doctor that my dad went to his yearly checkup for in the last 12 years.

Hell, prostate cancer awareness and prostate exams are not exactly a niche thing that almost nobody knows: almost anyone that's watched Family Guy at least knows what a prostate exam is, and anyone over 50 seems to be being told to get checked out.

However, breast cancer is more openly disfiguring than prostate or testicular cancer.

Testicular cancer isn't generally quite as deadly and widespread as breast cancer, unless the patient is an idiot that doesn't go in until it's too late. Prostate cancer doesn't affect young men as much.

Breast cancer can pretty much affect women of just about any age, even though younger cases much are rarer. Not quite as rare as a prostate cancer case is in a young man.

There's advocates for pretty much every type of cancer that's widespread enough.

Also, OP, if you never think there's any hype for testicular cancer, Livestrong. It's not exclusively for it, but c'mon, it's supported by Lance Armstrong because he had it and survived.

Last year, I saw a..."Documentary" (I'm not even sure if you could call it that) which featured Jonathan Ross (Woss) talking about checking your balls to find lumps. I found it terrible and full of assumptions as it showed sports stars and others I don't give a flying fuck about (which only chavs would care about) yelling "CHECK YE BALLS!" a lot. It was made significantly worse by the fact I was watching it in a college setting with paper thin walls so the GCSE IT classes could probably hear "CHECK YE BALLS" a lot.

Testicles are important for sexual reproduction. Breasts, however, only serve to feed milk to their young. Breasts can also be replaced with implants with no problem.

OH GOD, THINK ABOUT HOW THEY LOOK! (read: sarcasm). Why is everyone so superficial? If you had a significant other and they suddenly lost a breast due to cancer, would you honestly be less attracted to them. I mean I understand that you're probably mainly attracted to physical qualities but for me it's different. I'm more attracted to character and personality than anything. If you are so base that it's not something you could look past, I feel for you, truly.

(Another point; I am 14 years old, no I didn't just learn what misandry meant and, no I'm not a conspiracy theorist because feminists treat me like trash even if I don't do anything to them. One time I was at my local library and this group of feminists protesting for who knows what wouldn't stop calling me a misogynist pig. Go figure.)

Actually, the reason testicular cancer doesn't get the hype is because it is not much of a problem anymore. An inorganic compound commonly referred to as cis-platin is able to pretty much cure testicular cancer in 90 something % of cases.

never thought such a thing existed, when theres a certain demand for something a campagne is created, since theres not much attention on this type of cancer no "hype" is needed.
