I dont know why so many people like FF IX the main character is a fucking walking tiger. If anything FF X was X times better.

I found both IX and VII to be a lot of fun. It'd be cool to see both get remade.

Its an old game, and most people will will either not buy it out of ignorance, or just be sick of hearing about it. I have played the thing all the way through, and I have to agree this game is severely overrated.

There is that, but I'm pointing to the nostalgic of us who actually did enjoy the game, that and the ones (some in this thread) who have never played it and want to figure out why people love it so much along with those who call it overrated then go and buy it just to make sure or if there a closet fan of it. Me for example never played it until this summer when i bought it off of PSN, and if they did make a remake of it I would probably buy that too. Supernova ps3 graphics ftw.

I've never been impressed with FFVII, but seriously, I'm a retarded sucker, and I would almost certainly buy a remake of the game.

Why would I waste money for a game I've already completed. Maybe if they completely reworked it for today's standards. Keep in mind that I played this game at a younger age and had no expectations for games. The only game I would every repay for is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

I think there was some sort of remake on the PSP. I only know this because one of my friends had it.

It was a good game, not like FUCKING AWESOME GOOD though.

I just beat VII again because I recently re started playing it again. the reason i love it so much is the same nostalgic feeling of playing it and beating it when i was younger. No doubt i'm going to pick up IX off ebay and do the same sooner or later. I'd really like to see VII remade, but i really doubt it's going to happen at all.

Although, it certainly doesn't deserve its hype. It's completely inferior to just about every other Final Fantasy.
