When I look outside my window and see the green leaves on the trees, with the blue sky dotted with white clouds as the backdrop, I find myself at peace because it's so beautiful. Now they say beauty is within the eye of the beholder, so not everyone may share my view. But, I must say that most people do find nature to be beautiful. What is it about nature that has us captivated? Is it because it reminds our animal urges of home? Is it because it's calming from the ever busy hustling of the city life? What?

I think our natural sense for exploration and hunger for meaning is what makes nature so beautiful. We are so used to learning academic and technological advances that we often forget what our planet naturally has to offer. When we see something so simple as a plant it is so interesting and has such a touch of beauty that leaves us in awe.
