General Forum Overpopulation?

It's inevitable, the BBS has completely toppled over to one side of the forums
A person who desperately needs help in the Flash or WH/HT forums has to bump their thread about 3 times just to get a reply while a thread about penises can get about 3 pages before getting locked?
Even the CLUBS AND CREWS forums only get about 20 users per day

I purpose a to lock the GENERAL forums for a day and let users disperse and explore other forums
I need help from mods and I will be posting this same message in the NEWGROUNDS MK EVOLUTION thread

It's always been like this, plus it's not one sided at all, plenty of people in every section of the forum. We don't every forum being over populated with people who don't know what they are talking about.

That's because General is the forum that has the most topical freedoms. Thus, it is the most interesting.

As good of an idea as it sounds, it would completely backfire if actually put to action. Like STEM said, it would only result in everyone flooding the rest of the forums with "WTF GENERAL" type threads, not to mention if anything, it would be the last nail in the coffin for every other forum. I can already predict:

General: No activity (DOY)
Wi/Ht: Why the fuck is General locked?!
Flash: Working on an "R.I.P. General" movie.
Politics: What's with all these inferiors bitching to us about General's locking?
Programming: How I animate "R.I.P. General" in Flash?
C&C: Bring Back General Club! :'(

You know, I may not pay much attention to the majority of threads, but where the fuck are all these fabled threads about penises and cock? I never see any. This place just seems like a normal forum, with an unusual amount of people complaining about problems that don't actually exist.

And more people use General because generality is less specific than designated subjects, obv.

Ehh, not really. There are fewer people there, indeed, but they usually answer it within an hour or so. But, hey, you can always be desperate and bump it every 5 minutes.
