Your most beauiful book?

I recently bought the hardcover of the Lovecraft compilation, called 'Necronomicon'. It really is a very nice looking book, with a black leather effect and a nice embossed gold drawing of Cthulu on the front. The back has a quote from Stephen King, about how Lovecraft inspired him (it's short), which is also gold embossed, as is the title and the author name.

This got me thinking, there really are some very beautiful books. Not just in the sense of what is inside, but also how they actually look on the outside. So, I was wondering Newgrounds, what is the nicest looking book you own, or know of?

What about not judging a book by its cover? I guess that must include not judging the book's cover... by its cover.

The best one I know is also about H.P. Lovecraft. It's a bunch of short stories he wrote, and they're pretty scary. It's full of creepy drawings done in black and white, and the only color in there is red.

I think the dragons on the eragon series books are amazing, the look realy awesome

I've always wanted one of those huge wood bound tomes, with a big buckle to keep it closed. Of course it would have to have good content, but I've always wanted one of them.
