Yeah, it's happened at my highschool too. Not from swine-flu though. The one kid who I talked to on my bus died from a heroin overdose. And there was that other chick who died in a car crash, along with her friend. Both drunk. Oh, and one kid killed himself when I was a freshman. People drop like flies at my school.
But I think the worst part of it was when after the one guy died from the heroin overdose, the principal calls us down for an assembly and was like "Just when you think that people are stopping the heavy drugs, something like this happens. It's a disgrace to our school". Yeah, like anybody cared about that. What a douchebag. That's one of the worst things you could ever say in that sort of situation. He was saying that he didn't care that he died at all. The guy's girlfriend then sprinted at him down the aisle, with tears coming down her face, only to be stopped by a security guard and was given a detention. It's ridiculous.
