PC version without a doubt, unless the port really, really sucks.

Why did they stop caring?

I tend to stick to PC due to many diffferent reasons. A mouse undoubtedly gives you better control than an analog stick, and with practice you can have the upper hand using a mouse. That, and modding. Of course the creator's maps, sprites, models, whatever are good, but not allowing other people to include their creative ideas in a game doesn't seem right. To me, modding is what makes San Andreas fun. San Andreas isn't a fun game to me normally, but when I put in my favorite cars, weapons and stores, it feels like my city. Not a generic city, but a city based around me and my ideals, my likings. PC is superior to consoles as far as multiplayer as well. If you wanted to play Call Of Duty: World At War on the 360, you would have to pay for Xbox Live Gold and the game to play it. Usually, (unless it is an MMO), all you have to do is buy the game, no paying for multiplayer. Then you have the MMO factor. It is an undeniable fact that consoles are severely lacking in the MMO genre. For the PC you have so many options to choose from, sometimes it is overwhelming. I don't see WoW on the 360, PS3 or Wii. For me the PC is the right choice, but for other people console gaming may be the way to go. It's all your insight on the matter.

Depends on the game. inFamous would be clumsy on a PC, but I can't imagine how I'd be able to play RolllerCoaster Tycoon 2 on a console.

If it has co op, then the console version, it is awesome to play with friends at your home.
If it is a multiplayer/single player then the pc version.
Of course some games are exceptions.

I don't have a decent computer, so I always get the console version of games. If I had a gaming PC I would use it to play FPS's, but I wouldn't stop buying console games all together.

Usually console, especially if they're multiplayer, as that's what most of my friends use in gaming.

If the PC version is any good and isn't a cheap port, it's nearly always superior. Better Controls, better online community, better graphic features ( such as physx ), mods. Plus they usually cost less.

Actually it's not even an opinion that you can perform better in an FPS with Keyboard/Mouse,

Because obviously, every person can do better on the PC. Which is bullshit to say no matter how good it is.

it literally is a fact.

Is literally an opinion

People actually complain when PC online is linked to Console online for that very reason. And my computer does just fine playing FPS's.

That's your computer, and not mine.

I prefer PC games, much more freedom of choosing your buttons, more accurate and I like to play with keyboard+mouse (especially because I haven't got cheap stuff here).

It really isn't. That's like saying it's an opinion that you'll be more likely to win a race in a Ferrari than a fiat punto.

I myself buy console games more often but it really depends on the type of game and your preferences. If you enjoy modding and lower priced games, pc games are for you, if you prefer better graphics and less lag go with console games.

The only game better on console than PC that I can think of is RE4, but that's because they threw together a shitty port to milk the game for all it had.

For certain games I prefer the PC versions. I like the 'no clip' and the other cheats you can do easily usually only on PC versions. I like that online play is free, and you don't have a set name for when you go online. Of course, unless you have a gaming pc, you'll take a loss at graphics.

I usually get it for console. I don't need to worry about the system specs on a console and I don't need to worry about any damn Securom security placd on somting I bought that installs itself to the hard drive and I can't delete it and also have a security feature on the game the prevents me from playing what I bought. Also I noticed that you said you like free online play on the PC but it's free for consoles as well. Well a few of them.

Mostly, I prefer consoles, because, although I don't care that much about graphics, if I'm gonna look at something, it might as well be blown up on a 56" HDTV, instead of a puny 17" monitor.

Also, there's just something about the feel of having a controller in your hand, as opposed to just a keyboard, and I'm too cheap to buy that type of stuff for my computer.

If it's online multiplayer, then PC. If it's a graphically awesome, FPS or TPS or some sort, then console.

Besides, aren't consoles different versions of PC?
If you have the money, usually PC versions are much better in a lot of ways.

PC goes without saying for most games. FPS and RTS are always better, although I despise RTS. I just don't have the money for a nice rig, otherwise almost all of my gaming would be on PC.

Any multiplat games that happen to come out for the PC that don't include crazy insane addictive multiplayer I get for the PC... for free. If they DO have crazy insane addictive multiplayer I STILL get it for the PC, since it's about 20 - 30 dollars LESS than the X360 price (CoD 4 Part 2 excluded since every single one of my xbox live friends will want to play with me).

My computer sucks, so I always buy the console version. If I had a decent computer, there's a few games I would rather play on the computer for better controls and superior graphics and animations like the Half-Life series for instance.
