Banned from Submitting in Audio?

I've been a member on NG for a year or so, and never submitted anything. But I went to submit some of my bands new music and it told me I was banned from submitting in the audio portal, why is that happening?

If it's your first time uploading a track, you need to be approved by an audio mod before it appears in the portal. It'll give you the banned screen if you try to submit something else while your first one is still awaiting approval.

It can take weeks to get approved though. If you're sure this is the first time you've submitted anything to the AP, ask in this thread to find out what your status is from an audio mod. Alternatively, there's a list of audio mods you can PM in the FAQ.

As liljim stated, your account has submitted an audio submission before and it was _not_ approved (you were banned).

Actually, it doesn't. You are allowed to submit several submissions without being approved.

Actually, I just tried to submit something too, and was told that I was banned. I do remember submitting something quite a long time ago, and it wasn't approved, but I was wondering if there was any way to get unbanned. I checked the FAQ, and it didn't really say anything about that.

Audio bans are permanent, and permabans can only be lifted by admins. Currently, it's very hard to get un-banned from audio; most people have to make another account to post music on if they get banned on their main.

I suppose you could try PMing Wade, but don't expect much to happen.
