Earbuds are so much better, unless you wanted to spend a ton of money on headphones you would get stick with some cheap plastic crap that would never stay on your head, just look retarded, or barely work.

There is a reason you can't easily find headphones.

Last time I was in a headphone-related discussion, half the people were bashing Skullcandy while half were praising it. It was almost as controversial as politicians are! But I just don't like the earbud design at all, no matter which ones I try it always comes out the same.

They are uncomfortable, but with earphones you look like you are crazy about music.

Which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your opinion.

I guess the people there were people who know something about mostly the production of audio... or just general audiophiles. Those were the ones bashing it. As far as I've hear, skullcandy lacks bass, and has boosted High frequencies, to give you the idea of a better frequency range.

I suggest going for sennheiser headphones, you'll get actual quality. I have EH250's, and they're awesome.

I like mine I really don't like earbuds, they are retarded I like in-ear earbud type thingies. Earbuds that sit on the outer ear always fall out for me I hate them too. Regular headphones, or thel arger quality ones are nice.

Its funny because I'm wearing some iPod ones right now (and i dont even own an iPod lol).
People love them because
1. They're so small you sometimes forget that they are in your ear.
2. They are so clandestine. You can just tune the sound low on your music device and
if you have long hair, just put it over your ears, and if you have a hoodie just flip up the hood
and have all the wires go down the inside of the hoodie. Very great for those times in school
in which you are doing something lame in class like watching some useless video.
3. They are literally UBIQUITOUS. Everybody has them all over the world. You just fit in.

I prefer the one's such as skull candy's ink'd which have that flexible bud so it fits nicely in and isn't irritating

That's why I use around the neck headphones. Better sound quality and I can keep my eardrums intact.

Sound quality + comfort. I do admit, it's hard to change from conventional headphones to earbud headphones, but once you wear it a while it gets a HELL of a lot more comfortable. I can't even stand my old head phones now. They let out half of the volume, and they have TERRIBLE sound quality. (the standard iPod headphones).
Tip: try it out for a while, like a week, and if you still don't like it, then take them off.
But it's worth it. Especially skullcandy earbud headphones.

I use earbuds because they're cheap and easily portable (they fit in your pocket with no problem). If I used my iPod enough to warrant shelling out more than $20, I'd get some nice headphones, but I use my iPod maybe two or three times a month at most.
