Overall rating : 5/10
Worth a play if your friend has it, but not worth $35
Returning as soon as possible, already cleared 100% in 4 days
True, but it is the first adequate portable KH game, because Chain of Memories was WAY worse than this. If your friend has the game, it is a good buy.
Controls : 6/10
Mediocre enough and a little hard to use, but not impossible. Could have used a bit more refining.
Not entirely true. I believe that the controls were good for a system w/o dual analog, let alone a sigle one. Camera control works well for the most part, but the game has a somewhat steep learning curve for those not familiar with KH gameplay.
Music : 3/10
Same old boring reused garbage. Oh sure it has that "KH" feel, but it seriously gets boring listening to the SAME songs 4 GAMES IN A ROW
No arguing this.
Story : 6/10
Average. Takes forever to get to anything good. Confusing as hell
The story should not be confusing to you, who have played KH games before I suspect. The story IS slow and somewhat repetitive from games past, and newcomers to the series will be confused as hell.
Difficulty tuning : 2/10
Rage inducing encounters halfway through the game but the last bosses wind up being piss easy. Leechgrave and Ruler of the Sky can suck my balls.
Once again, no arguing this.
Gameplay : 4/10
SUP. YOU CAN GET ABOUT 3 DIFFERENT KEYBLADES THE WHOLE GAME THAT ARE HALF ASSED USEFUL AND THE OTHER 2 THAT ARE WORTH ANYTHING ARE ONLY AFTER YOU BEAT THE GAME.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. The gameplay in this game is very intuitive. First of all, there are upwards of 15 different keyblades for use, not including the weapons used by other characters (which actually don't change for some unlockable characters; no spoilers ;P). The panel system of upgrading makes the gameplay very customizable with 78 total abilities to mix and match. There are 5 spell sets (Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Aero, and Cure), and a synthesis system with elements borrowed from the KH2 version.

1. Graphics are amazing for the DS
2. Multiplayer is a nice touch for KH and works very well
3. In no way am I a whiny fan boy.
4. I give this game a 7/10, with my biggest complain in originality. Basically all the enviroments and the soundtrack were reused, and that isn't right. Well, it does lessen production costs, which means we need a price drop on our end!!!
