Well, just coming out of the dentist's office, feeling nice and fresh and clean, I decided to walk over to CD Plus to see if they had anything I might find interesting. I ended walking out with Genesis by Job For A Cowboy and Children of Bodom's new album Skeletons in the Closet (Both great albums for fans of the genre).

Anyways, I go home, enter all the information into iTunes because the CDs didn't want to give me the information themselves, but deciding it was worth it while listening to Embedded on my computer speakers.

Anyways, when I decide to unplug my iPod and continue listening to the music away from the computer, I notice that nothing's playing through the ear buds. I go back to the computer and restore my iPod, but to now avail.

So Newrounds, I'm sitting here with my royally fucked up iPod, and am looking for some help. I tried looking on the Apple help forums, but it was filled with 12 year olds complaining that their earbuds were fuzzy because they thought they should attention whore by turning the music all the way up. If it makes any difference, I'm using a 16 gigabyte iPod Touch on the newest OS, 3.1.2., thanks in advance.

Assuming you beautiful souls will help me.

No big deal. It's probably obsolete by now.

I had that problem too, but a quick restore fixed it. Is your ipod still under ?

Ipods kill headphones, try a different pair.

had a generic mp3 for 2 years, one set of headphones. Had my ipod 3 years, over 6 different sets of headphones. Lots of people report their headphones die fairly often with ipods.

Are you sure it's not your speakers? Seriously earbuds suck, buy real headphones.

For those concerned about the ear buds, I've already tried 2-4 pairs, and for that one guy concerned about ANY ear buds, I've also been trying a set of Sony RP-HTX7s.

I've had 4 iPods and 10 different sets of earphones.

Yet I continue to stay with Apple's bullshit.

You should try restoring ALL settings... if you've already done that, try uninstalling and reinstalling the software for it. Sorry I can't be of much more help. :(

I tried this as well, didn't work either. I want to try as much as possible before I have to send it in.
