To put things in perspective, the moon is going to be hit by the rocket below, it hasn't got a warhead, just literally, a means of thrust, not a bomb what so ever, just one object hitting another.

Have you seen the craters on the Moon? They are caused my meteorites, going MUCH faster and are MUCH bigger.

The largest crater is visible to us is the Bailly crater, which is 26,000 square miles in size.

Do you think that a tiny couple metre sized metal tube is gonna do anything? Apparently yes.

Do you realize how massive the moon is in comparison to even the largest explosion that we can currently make?

The amount of energy even the most massive man-made explosion would create would be insurmountable due to the fact that the moon is pretty fucking big.

One tiny explosion is not going to cause the moon to leave our orbit, or for that matter come crashing into the earth.
