ZUNE TOTALLY DUDE ZUNE!

Don't get a shitty Apple product, there's the proprietary hardware and software you have to deal with (iTunes is the worst thing to have on any computer). Plus the batteries will explode on those things. Go with the Zune HD (powered by nVidia) or any other off-brand mp3 player.

iPod. Zune blows uber hard.

As someone who has had an iPod, a Creative Zen, and a Zune, I can easily say that Zune is my favorite of the three. Some people will religiously devote their mp3 needs to iPods (Or Zunes, for that matter), but most people who have tried both and aren't fanboys either way choose Zune I've seen.

It's all a matter of preference I suppose, but I would still suggest going with a Zune.

I wanted a ZuneHD but the store I was at was all out of them so I got an iTouch.

I say a zune,they're both touch screens so I can't argue much about the layout (since ipod's circle scroll fucking annoyes me and a normal zune just goes up/down and left/right) but zune's can send music and pictures to other zune's plus they have a built in radio

now I'm not sure if the zune HD has apps or not but I personally don't mind

I have an 80 gig Zune. It was only $250, much cheaper than an ipod.

Zunes aren't too strong in the game department, and they don't have an official way to put more games
onto your Zune, but you can make and put games onto your Zune using XNA Game Studios and Microsoft Visual C#.

You need to download a program onto your computer to put media onto a Zune, put it is helpful for organizing your media. The program can also edit the media information

The Zunes are also pretty strong. I've dropped mine a lot and it still works fine.

Get a I-Pod

a zune just seems like a failed attempt to copy apple (also the fact that it adds HD to its name just makes it seem desperate)

You can pick between five colors and 20 artist designs. And the software is infinitely better than iTunes.

The Zune if you use it as an MP3 player mostly. The custom apps for it have not matured very much yet. The apps for the iPod Touch, well, there's an app for that.

I would go with the Zune though. Why not?

no. I've used both, but after getting the first Zune replaced the second one just froze and wouldn't unfreeze, then I got a IPod. Anyone with half a brain can figure out how to put music in Itunes and Zune, there pretty much the same thing with a different layout.

Get a IPod, one with alot of space, find the 4gb nano's if you can, those are really good, Zunes have a nasty habit of breaking down and the customer service when I used it didn't know what the hell to do.

I've had my old Z80 replaced twice (partly my own fault), and the customer support has been the best I've ever received. Microsoft doesn't play games when it comes to Zune Customer Support.

I'd get the Zune. I have a Zune, and I definitely prefer their software over iTunes, and I just like the Zune in general.

iPods suffer through the restrictions from iTunes, and the general interface blows.

Zunes, ala Steam, you can share your music with anyone who has a microsoft id, tottally customizable interface and overall better.

Get a walk-man

I've personally always preferred the simplicity of the Sandisk Sansa models. They do pretty much everything you NEED in a media player, if all you want to do is play music and watch video, and there's no proprietary software to deal with - just drag and drop the files onto the device.

If the apps are a real clincher for you though, the iPod range is probably better, since it has a massive library compared to the Zune. This could all change in time, but it doesn't look like it.

The Zune is more powerful and has more features, but more people will recognize an iPod. Also the iPod has more developers and accessories.

I got a zune when it first came out & it has lasted this far, allot of people say they have problems but they always end up getting them replaced free of charge, as of for reliability the only problems I ever had is that it crashed once as of for ipod as far as I knowtheir hardware is nothing compared to the zune capability. I would go witht eh zune HD its a touch screen also & looks awesome. Hope I helped.
