it's great when she says yes but as it goes along it gets more boring to a point where you do something like ask her if she loves you. if she says yes you're filled with joy, if she says no you realize that she wasn't right for you and move on. unless she's a slut and has you for sex but i never have had a girlfriend like that

It's okay. There's a shitload of fish in the sea, but the basics are you have to show them attention, buy them shit, spend time with them, and just be yourself. It's possibly the greatest thing. I mean you find someone that has the same interest as you, and you always find something to talk about. Then you notice her looking at another man, and next thing you know they're french kissing in front of you. So basically, it's a horrible experience.

Here's the thing, you got to make sure it's the right girl. Your best choice is someone who you can be friends with first. If a girl is willing to be your friend for a long period of time then she probably likes you as a person to quite an extent and I'm guessing you like her as well. Also before you go right ahead and decide that you want to go steady with this girl you should go on a few dates with her then decide whether or not you're ready to advance the relationship.
But you're still probably wondering what it's like to have a girlfriend in the first place. Well if you're with someone whom you and her have a mutual infatuation then it's really great. When you just feel like there's no one the world above her and she just becomes the sunshine of your day. But if you're in a one-sided or completely platonic relationship then you can bet that things are going to be pretty shitty.

Sadly, yes (although it's not always true). Four days ago, my girlfriend broke up with me after her friend had told me that she cheated on me. I was devastated.

Really depends on what the girl is like, and what you both want out of a relationship.
For me I just enjoy spending time with her, watching films, hanging around, etc. It's nice to have a companion like that.

It really depends on both of your personalities. I don't think anyone can accurately tell you what it's like, since everyone has such varied experiences when it comes to dating. I wouldn't worry about it at your age, it really is a hassle during high school, with all your hormones and everything. Just enjoy it while you can, and if you find someone you can have a relationship with where you both benefit, go with it. Just remember that most if not all high school couples break up after a few months, and don't get too serious about it. If you're just in it for some "action," you need to rethink what relationships really mean.

I think it is amazing. When i'm around her, I am the happiest I have ever been in the world. Its one of the best feelings to have. Sure, every now and then I can get stressed out about her, but during these times where I am stressed out about her its usually just because I make a bigger deal out of something thats not even a big deal at all. Then again, I see other people miserable with their girlfriends. I personally think this is because most guys only search for a girl that looks attractive, and they don't even get to know the girl before hand or don't even think about how looks aren't everything. They then go out with this girl, and she's a complete bitch.

For me, its love. I love my girlfriend, and its more along the rollar coaster way. But even through the tough times I still love her and I know she loves me. Its give and take, live and learn. You can't play entirely in her books, and she can't play entirely in yours.
