And i was wondering if fellow animators had any suggestions? i dont have the budget for a cintiq but im also not stupid and know ill have to spend a bit.
aside from what type of actual tablet, where is the best place to buy? im looking mostly at amazon right now.
and finally, i will probably put my own tablet up for sale. ive never sold anything online so ill have to set up some kind of account somewhere, but i wont be asking for much, its in perfect working order, but is old.
any suggestions are appreciated.

btw this is what i got (not pictured- dirt and dust)

Im buying a new tablet..

my tablet is the same size as yours, only an older version, and i'm totally content with it. i think anything you buy (as long as it's wacom, in my opinion) will end up being your new best friend as long as you use it often. something bigger might take a while to get used to, but will probably get the job done just as well as the one you're using now.
as for the cintiq i have no idea, i suck with pencil and paper so i'm too afraid to get one lol

I got a bamboo, its alright, surface area could be bigger and without drawing on the actual screen it isn't the same as pen and paper.
