Covering Slipknot is actually quite difficult, and you are on your way to a successful career, my friend.

Some tips though:

You can play guitar too for this. It doesn't matter if you can't play guitar, simply take a guitar, plug it in (some preliminary hits with a hammer will do its tuning patterns nicely) and start smashing away.

Have you ever seen the video where the kid is not allowed to play World of Warcraft? He is the guru of this pattern of vocalising. Watch his video and mimic it until you feel confident enough to play Slipknot's music. He taught them everything they know.

Do these two at the same time, and all sorts of pre-pubescent middle-classed boys who don't understand themselves or the world around them will flock to you because they realize they have emotions and don't know what to do with them. Everyone's favorite demographic!

well if you were educated on this in any-fucking-way
you would know that yelling is not what it is.
screaming is done using the diaphragm. which is the same way you scream.
two completely sounds are made. yelling will fuck up your voice.
screaming (the name is just for the sake of keeping a difference) wont. I've been doing it in a band for over 3 years, and I can sing and scream just fine.
I'm a vocalist. This shit is a very very close hobby of mine.
And I can tell you that the same techniques used in singing are used in screaming. Yells are dangerous, and bad for your voice.
