So in order for someone to be cool, they have to use some super powers like being immune to bullets giving them a huge advantage against nearly all the enemies there going to come across instead of using there whit and skills? Batman isn't a superhero.
He started out as a costumed detective vigilante, out for revenge against the criminals.

His character has changed with every new comic series with him, and every singled animated series with him.

He's been a campy, fun loving hero, a borderline psychopath, a flawed but great man, a strange eccentric, and a pissed off old guy with a cane and a bad heart.

He's been just about everything BUT the traditional superhero.

People at a young age who experiance something that traumatizing are going to be affected for the rest of their lives no matter what.

Batman is not exception and, to be quite frank, went insane because of it. Seriously, the only difference is that he has used his traumatic experaince and turned it into a tool to fight crime. That has, in turn, become an obsession and he can't shave off the Batman persona that well.

It's funny to me how come no one has figured out who Batman is. I mean Bruce Wayne is a billionaire so he has the potential to own a batmobile, a batplane, a secret cave with supertechnology and what not. He has a reason to fight crime and be a secret vigilante because of his parents and almost no one has yet figured him out in the comics or movies. And since he is just a man who can die from one bullet why doesn't he leave crime fighting to the police and just live his life. You know... living well is the best revenge... but no, he has to avenge every single criminal which can not end since there are always gonna exist at least one criminal. True. In fact he gets bruised up pretty badly every time he got into fights with vilians, which make him more cooler because he used his human power or smartness to win some superhuman vilian.

You realize that he has fucking bat senses, right? Go play arkham city and tell me his martial arts isn't the dopest thing you have ever seen.
